Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens is pleased to announce a unique opportunity for gardening enthusiasts to learn the art of pruning from none other than Trevor Cameron, CPH (Certified Professional Horticulturist), General Manager of Sunnyside Nursery, and esteemed member of the Arboretum's board.
Scheduled for Saturday, March 16th, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, this half-day Pruning Demo Workshop will take place in Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens at 145 Alverson Blvd in Everett, WA. Attendees will have the exclusive chance to observe Trevor Cameron in action as he demonstrates the precise techniques of pruning focusing on the beautiful Maple Grove he curates within the Arboretum.
"With Trevor's extensive knowledge and passion for gardening, he is the perfect instructor for this workshop," says Eileen Simmons, President of Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens. She adds, "Educational events like this workshop are integral to our mission of promoting horticultural knowledge and appreciation,"
Learning to prune effectively often requires more than reading about it; seeing the process firsthand can significantly enhance understanding. Trevor Cameron's years of experience as a horticulturist and curator ensure that attendees will gain valuable insights into the when, where, and why of pruning cuts. The workshop is designed to fit any schedule, allowing participants to drop in for part of the pruning activity or stay for its entirety.
Attendees are advised to dress appropriately for the weather, as the workshop will be outdoors. Registration is not required; interested individuals can simply meet at the Arboretum's front entrance columns on the day of the event.
Don't miss this exceptional opportunity to learn from a seasoned expert in a beautiful outdoor setting. Join Trevor Cameron and fellow gardening enthusiasts for a memorable half-day workshop at Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens.
