Solstice Sunrise Walk: Welcome the Returning Light!

Monday, December 21, 2026 | 7:50–9 AM

Celebrate the shortest day and the promise of brighter mornings ahead!

There's something magical about a garden at dawn, especially on the winter solstice.

Join us at Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens for a peaceful Solstice Sunrise Walk as we welcome the first light of winter and celebrate the gradual return of longer days.

Bundle up, breathe in the crisp morning air, and experience the quiet beauty of the Arboretum in its winter slumber. Bare branches, evergreens, and the soft morning light offer a different perspective on the gardens we love throughout the year.

Whether you're a regular visitor or discovering the Arboretum for the first time, this is a lovely opportunity to slow down, connect with nature, and greet the changing season.

FREE and open to all!

Location: Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens
145 Alverson Boulevard, Everett, WA

Come greet the dawn, celebrate the season, and welcome the returning light!
