Wintertide Lights - A Gift to the Community

  • Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens 145 Alverson Boulevard Everett, WA, 98201 United States (map)

Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens is thrilled to invite the entire community to experience the magic of the season at Wintertide Lights as we once again transform the Arboretum into a mesmerizing winter wonderland for the month of December.

This free event promises an enchanting walk in the Arboretum, with volunteers going the extra mile to illuminate trees, bushes, and pathways.

Wintertide Lights began in 2020 as a response to the pandemic, embodying our mission to engae with our community in inspirational, educational, and accessible ways. Every year, we strive to exceed expectations, continually adapting to the changing landscape of nature. Now in its 5th year, Wintertide Lights has become a community tradition.

This year's event will include a gazebo luminary installation crafted by artist Cindy Morris and our Solstice Luminary Walk on Thursday, December 21st, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, with complimentary luminary bags and story time in the gazebo. Watch for our schedule of Luminary classes to be announced.

Wintertide Lights has been made possible through the generous support of the City of Everett, Snohomish County, Sunnyside Nursery and private donations, all contributing to the enthusiasm that fuels this remarkable event.
