Join us for the fifth year of our celebrated outdoor sculpture exhibition and sale, presented in collaboration with the Northwest Stone Sculptors Association (NWSSA). This free, two-day event transforms the Arboretum into a stunning open-air gallery, featuring original stone sculptures crafted by NWSSA member artists.

Explore, Discover, and Connect
Visitors are invited to stroll through the gardens, enjoy a wide range of stone artworks displayed on plinths, and meet the sculptors behind the creations.

Please note: The Arboretum will close to the public at 5 PM on Saturday, August 17, for a private evening event for members, donors and volunteers.

Free Workshop: Carve Your Own Soapstone Animal

Saturday, August 17 | 10:00 – 11:30 AM
Ages 9+ | Outdoor Gazebo in Evergreen Arboretum

In this fun and engaging workshop, participants can choose to carve bear, wolf or orca shapes from soapstone with the guidance of experienced NWSSA sculptors. Using simple, safe tools, each participant will create their own unique piece to take home.

  • Open to ages 9 and up (parental supervision required for children under 12)

  • All tools and materials provided

  • Dress for the weather and wear clothes that can get dirty
