Summer Fest Family Fun

  • Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens 145 Alverson Boulevard Everett, WA, 98201 United States (map)

Families and youth-serving organizations come together at the Arboretum on Saturday, July 19, from 1–4 PM for Summer Fest, a free outdoor event packed with activities, music, and community spirit.

Set among the scenic beauty of the Arboretum, Summer Fest brings together people of all ages for an afternoon of hands-on fun. The crowd favorite Rain City Ropeworks Jump Rope Demo returns from 3–4 PM, and each family will receive a free ice cream coupon for the Yay Big Ice Cream Truck, plus complimentary popcorn throughout the event.

New this year, Reggie Miles joins the lineup with his Interactive Musical Gadgets—a playful mix of rhythm and creativity made from found objects. Also on the grounds, Marco Cortes leads a bilingual interactive music session, inviting kids and families to sing along and celebrate music from multiple cultures.

Visitors can also look forward to:

  • Selfie stations with peep-through boards for fun photo ops

  • A nature-themed art project from Imagine Children’s Museum

  • A bug exploration station hosted by Master Gardeners of Snohomish County

  • Face painting with YMCA volunteers

  • A garden scavenger hunt with surprises around every corner

“We’re thrilled to bring Summer Fest back to the Arboretum,” said organizers. “It’s a great way to celebrate summer, connect with local organizations, and spend quality time outdoors.”

There are more organizations participating this year than ever before. Evergreen Arboretum and Gardens thanks all of them for creating a free and fun event for kids in Snohomish County.

No registration is required—just show up and have fun.
