2020 Wintertide Lights was the first-ever month-long event organized by the Evergreen Arboretum. Free and open to the public each evening in December from dusk to 8 PM, it was so well-received we will definitely be doing it again in 2021. In 2019, foot traffic during December was 550 people; In December of 2020 that number grew ten-fold to 5,500. While it was no small feat to pull off, we loved seeing families, all socially distanced and wearing masks, walking and gathering is a safe way during the Covid 19 pandemic. Public comments were overwhelmingly positive.
