 As with most gardens, maintenance and upkeep are a constant battle to keep them looking their best. This is, frankly, one of our biggest volunteer needs and requires only enthusiasm, not gardening experience, as there is always someone around on a work day to identify what to dig up and what not to! It is everyone's chance to 'play in the dirt' and do a good deed at the same time. Each year the Arboretum designates certain Volunteer Work Days and those for 2008 are listed below. Either way someone will contact you with information about all of our volunteer opportunities. Come and give us a try....you'll get to work with great people and have a lot of fun....guaranteed. 2008 Volunteer Work DaysSaturday work parties start at 10:00 am and are generally done by 1:00 pm. There will also be a thank you barbeque for all volunteers at the end of the season.
