Wednesday, May 20th, 2015

On May 20th, The  2015 Gardens of Merit Tour will be just one month away! Time to really dig into the details!

Join other garden tour enthusiasts at the meeting to hear the plans for this yearís event, and be prepared to sign up for the multitude of tasks necessary to make the event a success.

Thereís a lot of work to be done in advance as well as on the day of the event, and we could really use your help!

Gardens of Merit Tour
Saturday, June 20th 11-4pm

Enjoy a spring day visiting beautiful gardens in our community. This yearís gardens range in size and style from small cottage gardens to larger, more formal gardens. Youíll get great ideas for landscaping small city yards and see how two garden owners have successfully dealt with steeply-sloped properties. Youíll learn creative ways to incorporate arbors, greenhouses, entertaining spaces and garden art into your landscape.

Musicians are featured in several of the gardens, itís a self-guided driving tour so you can go at your own pace, smell the roses and enjoy the music!

Tickets are just $12 and are available in advance at Sunnyside Nursery, J. Matheson Gifts, Pacific Stone Company, Stadium Flowers and at Sorticulture - or buy your ticket the day of the tour at the Evergreen Arboretum.

All proceeds from this event support the Evergreen Arboretum & Gardens.
