About Us

When you step through the Little and Lewis blue entrance columns, you are truly transported to a place of beauty and peace. Trees, shrubs, perennial gardens, a rock garden, Japanese Maple Walk, outdoor pavilion plus sculptures and an incredible fountain, work together to form a unique Snohomish County destination.

True to the original mission statement in 1963, a large portion of the collection is labeled for the enlightenment of the public. Its beauty changes with the seasons, making it a place that you will want to visit over and over again.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Evergreen Arboretum Foundation is to create and maintain an inspirational arboretum and gardens accessible to all, internationally-acclaimed and locally-enjoyed for its plant diversity, original art and educational opportunities.
